ManaFest is in the heart of Costa Rica’s south Caribbean coast where you’ll see stunning ocean views, gorgeous waterfalls, clear blue seas and epic sunsets! The festival is centrally located in the main town of Puerto Viejo, walking distance to family owned restaurants, farmers markets, and boutique shops. Puerto Viejo is close to the beautiful beach towns of Punta Uva, Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge, Playa Chiquita and Salsa Brava for excellent world-class surfing breaks, snorkeling and wildlife viewing! 

 

SJO is the main international airport in Costa Rica in the city of San Jose. From there you can fly a domestic plane to Limon, which is about a 45 minute flight, and then can take a bus or taxi to Puerto Viejo, about 40 minutes away. 

 

Or you can take a shuttle or public bus from San Jose to Puerto Viejo. For a private shuttle airport pick-up you can reserve with Caribe Shuttle for $57. Or you can take a taxi to the public bus station MEPE in downtown San Jose and get a bus ticket for about $10. It takes around 5 hours to travel from San Jose to Puerto Viejo via car.
